Bloodborne Pathogen Training

This training includes:

• Identifying jobs or tasks where there may be exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials
• Explains universal precautions and how to report an exposure
• Develops engineering and work practice controls
• Advises on the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment
• Establishes housekeeping protocols (including disposal)

For those that provide First Aid/CPR, or will be responsible for clean up of blood or potentially infectious materials, an additional training is included which covers:

• Information on the Hepatitis B vaccination
• Post-exposure evaluation and follow-up
• Recordkeeping
